Aurax Pay

Mobile money, accepted everywhere in Tanzania.

One REST API to collect payments, disburse funds, and reconcile transactions across every major mobile money network — with webhooks that tell your app the moment money moves.

How it works

You call one endpoint. We handle the rest.

Aurax Pay sits between your application and Tanzania's mobile money networks — routing, retrying, and reconciling so your customers just see a wallet prompt.

FAQ

Common questions about Aurax Pay.

M-Pesa (Vodacom), Mixx by Yas, Airtel Money (Airtel Tanzania), and HaloPesa (Halotel) are supported out of the box, with additional mobile money and banking channels available on request — all through the same API call.
No. Aurax Pay is a plain REST API — send JSON, receive JSON. SDKs and libraries are available if you'd prefer them, but they're optional.
Aurax Pay sends a signed webhook to your callback URL the moment the network confirms the transaction, so you never have to poll for status.
Yes — the TEST environment uses axp_test_ keys and moves no real money, so you can fully exercise the payment and webhook flow before going live.
